Garlic Mashed Turnips
Garlic plus chicken broth add a nice kick of flavor to these turnip mashed potatoes.
Tools
- Medium pot for boiling
- Potato masher
Ingredients
- 3 cups diced turnip
- 4-8 golden potatoes (optional if keto omit)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup of chicken stock
- 3 T grass-fed butter, melted
- 1/2 t salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 t thyme
Instructions
- Cook the turnips, potatoes, and garlic cloves in a large pot of water until it is all very soft.
- Drain well, then mash or use a blender.
- Add the chicken stock and butter, then season with salt, pepper, thyme to taste.
